RE: WWII Rare Color Film "Aircraft Carriers in the Pacific

Hi All,
Here is a short (6 minute) video clip shot in true 16 mm color film. Some of the clips you'll be familiar with,....such as the ones of crippled US Navy fighter aircraft trying to land back on a carrier deck. What I've never seen before are the actual (in color)film footage of fighters attacking various Japanese ships. Enjoy!

Reminds me of my flight deck days.....1970-74 Forrestal,Saratoga & Independence

Good stuff, ain't it? That footage is from the movie The Fighting Lady. You can watch the whole flick on YouTube (7 parts) and it looks better than the crap DVD version I have. The original VHS tape I got from the USS Yorktown Museum is way better quality, I should burn that onto DVD.
