RE: X-Plane?

...I admit my ignorance. There's a forum now for 'X-Plane.' I've never heard of X-Plane before. I checked out some of the posts but I still don't have a clue if it's a totally separate flight sim from FS9,...or is it something that's added onto FS9? Like Over Flanders Field is part of CF3.
If it is separate,....is it only played on line,....or can it be played individually? Totally confused,......:kilroy:
Finally,...any advantages over FS9?

Hi Brad,
No it is a totally seperate flight sim.The scenery graphics are not up to FSX yet,But it is getting there.I believe it does not fully support autogen.I could be wrong though about the latest version 9.Flight models are supposed to be much better. It has growing community and may well be the way to go if FS11 never appears.
