Ready for the superbowl

Blues is Life
Looking forward to a great game. Obviously I am rooting for the red and gold but, I have a lot of respect for this Ravens team. In some ways they remind me of SF Giants championship run to the world series, where everyone counted them out, they never gave up.

I hope everyone has a fun and safe superbowl party.:icon29:

Go Niners!!

Just turned it on at 1800 . Don't really have a favorite team in this Super Bowl but it should be one heck of a game . Both quarterbacks can throw 60-70 yards down field and to have two brothers mixed it up with one another is going to be really interesting .

May the best team win and good luck to both !

Rich

hey All,

That was a heck of a game! Lots of twists and turns...

What I expected to see happen did to an extent. Way more often than not the "extra" week off causes the high powered offenses to go "flat" and that is what happened to SF in the first half and then after the outage the Ravens went cautious on offense and it cost them while SF came to life. That 4 play stop of SF inside the 10 pretty much gave it to the Ravens. The safety was brilliant Harbaugh was caught off guard. I really had no dog in this fight as I prefer the Broncos or Pats but found myself cheering on the old guys on the Ravens. Who cares if Ray Lewis may have committed double murder after his first super bowl win and got away with it - at least he did pay off the families of both victims as he could certainly afford it - he still certainly deserved another superbowl win...

Congradulations to the Ravens. The niners dug themselves in a deep hole, and almost made it out. :salute::icon29:

The outage was cool, but I was scared they might call the game. It benefited the 49ers more than the Ravens which was upsetting. Thanksfully, they were unable to hold on to the ball and rush the final yards needed for a TD and a game changing play. Ravens defense stayed strong when it mattered most, and held on to that victory from the kickoff.

Ads were a let-down. Half-time show was a let down. Half-time show outfit: seductive.

The 'unofficial' word is that Beyonce's half time show sucked up so much power that it threw a monkey wrench into the stadium's power grid.:isadizzy: Officials are now looking into the problem.

The show was pretty dramatic. Their ability to set up and break down the gear so quickly still fascinates me.

Roger Fidel... Eh, I man Roger Goodell says no.

"Doug Thornton of SMG , the Superdome’s management company, also spoke at Monday’s press conference with Goodell and said the halftime show was on a separate generator and wasn’t drawing power from stadium sources."
