RealFlight Hellcat and Windows 7 problem.

Well newest Windows 7 64-bit just runs AWESOME with FSX.
I now run Dense autogen without ANY stuttering ANYWHERE even with 4096x resolution and a 6.5 LOD distance(going to try 9) getting better performance than ever before.

One small problem.... the Realflight Hellcat VC wont work, i get no VC except for two instruments hovering in midair.
So far the RF Hellcat seems to be the ONLY plane affected, A2A's B-17, default FSX aircraft and Flying Stations Westland Wyvern work just fine for me.
Anyone got any ideas?
Btw i am NOT running with DX10 clicked in.

It works fine for me in the 7 beta, haven't upgraded to the release candidate yet so I don't know if that changes anything. Have you tried cycling the VC views?

I agree 7 gives better performance than XP.

Err yeah... i did and like i said, VC just wont show except for two hovering instruments.

And this is Win7 RC1 im using.

The missing VC is usually a licensing issue. Did you contact Realflight at their website? If you haven't that's what i would suggest. However, I'm pretty sure that they don't support Windows 7 as an OS at this time.

good luck.

Oh, that's a thought, did you copy the Hellcat folders across from your XP install or do a full install in 7? I went the full install route which might help?

Didnt copy but used the same harddrive(got a dedicated FSX one)
I reinstalled the Hellcat from within Windows 7 and that did the trick.

Thanks! :ernae:
