Recognition pictorial manual

Interesting to read the potted assessments of each type and work out when they were written. I chuckled at the Hawker Typhoon described as a high-altitude fighter !

Hmmm...the posted lynx doesn't work from here - but still have my old trusted and faithful copy of 'Collins All about Aeroplanes', though.

Hawker typhoon High-altitude fighter...'spect they were only used in situations where Spitfire LF mk IX's were hard-pressed, but I digress...
