recon, escort missions in CFS3

During the campaign I try flying escort and recon missions and in fighter sweeps or ground strikes they usually give you that big debriefing sign at the bottom that says mission goals resolved or whatever and it has the options to close the window or debreifing, and debreifing sucessfully ends the mission. In recon and escort missions it doesn't do that, and my squadron and I proceed to land, then nothing happens, then I end up failing the mission, what do I have to do to make these missions sucessfully end

Survive means for the game that a precentage of the flight has to make it back and you have to hit all the waypoints.

if you fly with the stock spawns, you will never have any mission goal in recon mission. This is why it's always a failure.

in escort missions, if you fly with the stock spawns, the game will generate a target mission goal to be destroyed by the bombers you are in charge. So, you have 3 items for the mission to be a success: fly all waypoints, bombers must survive, target must be destroyed.

try to fly campaign with the rebuild spawns (use the era swapper for this). Install ETO expansion fisrt if not already done.
