• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Wow!
I just heard Kirby Chambliss state that they pull 10-12g's during the races!!!!!:isadizzy:

(Do they wear G-Suits) :ques:

I don't think they wear G-suits, but from watching those races, the pilots are only pulling those kind of G's for a very short amount of time, which probably allows them to just use physiological methods to prevent blackouts

I cannot wait for the future of this sport, I got to hear Mike G somethin, cant remember the last name, speak while attending embry riddle aeronautical university. He said they are gaining more and more corporate sponsorships, and hope to have the sport progress to a nascar level.

I watched a doco a while back, a WW2 fighter pilot said he used to limit the amount of blood flow from his head during dog fights by just tilting his head way over to one side, thus slowing down the blood flow. Don't know if they do that sort of thing ?
