Reinstall CFS3 and other games?

Hello,
I had a total disk crash on my Vista system (used also for CFS3 and related games).
I am rebuilding my Vista. I have backups of my CFS3 and other related games (maw, eto, PTO, Korea, OFF...) BUT the registry will be new....

My question do I need to reinstall all the games from the start to have correct registry entries or do I "simply" reinstall the backup files without registry?
Thanks in advance

I don't know about Vista, but in XP, it's simple. Install a full "vanilla" CFS3, with updates and mission builder. That covers the registry. Then copy the other installs over, run Martin Wright's MultiCFS, and then the config utility. You should be all set up to run then.

Hello,
Vista is up again .....

Now I start installations : vanilla CFS3 is installed with the required patches but where do I find "run Martin Wright's MultiCFS".

Thanks in advance

Hello and thanks,
If I do remember well I need to do the following for ALL the games
"MultiCFS3 is a program to do this simply.
Step 1

Create a new install of CFS3 by copying the whole folder to a new location
(or whatever other method you wish to use)
Step 2
Copy MultiCFS3.exe to this new CFS3 folder
Step 3
Run MultiCFS3 from this new folder and change the USER foldername to something different."

I want to reinstall ETO, MWA, PTO an Korea and once it is done I copy my backups to the different folders?

Thanks in advance

Simply copy the whole install from your backup drive onto your new drive, and once there, run MultiCFS. It is actually already there in the install - look in MAW root, for example, and you'll find it.
