_AVRO 621-646-Tutor PSD Paintkit_parts: 1/2/3

You will need to download all 3 parts of this fully layered paintkit.

All original layers, paths and settings have been retained in the PSD files to enhance your personal texturing preferences when creating your own new liveries.

Hopefully the paintkit will also encourage newcomers to explore the layers and gain some insight towards developing their own skills and working methods.

Most files are common to all versions in the AVRO series. Extra files where they differ are provided in the kit.

In few instances I have also provided separate FS9 and FSX files for texture sheets of the same name where this was neccessary due to added model complexity for FSX.

Have FUN!

Wow! Thank You!
I will certainly enjoy having a 'dabble' with this quality PK.
I hope you and the family are having a great Easter.

Thank YOU, Stuart!

A very great Easter to you, too - ours is coming up this weekend, in a sunny Northern Greece :wavey:

Would most eagerly look forward to any liveries you wish to share, my friend! :jump:

Cheers,

Nigel

Maybe now I can change the serial of that HMR Frobisher plane without ruining the detail and shading underneath it.

We'll see...

Can't do it with my old, wood-burning software.

Photo Delux won't open the files - too many layers. PSP7 will open them but won't display the layers separately.

Drat!

Thanks Pete,

I've just downloaded GIMP. I'll check it out and learn how to use it when I have a bit more time.

Oddly, the first attempt was blocked by Norton with a note that it was detected as an unsafe download. Tried again and it came down, and this time Norton checked it out and said it was safe. Curious.

Right now I need to get away from my desk. I just re-did the Frobisher skin without the paint kit. Very tedious and annoying, pixel by pixel, but it came out alright. It took much too long, made slower and far more difficult due to way too much "help" from Rowdy the cat. I gotta go outdoors and get some fresh air!

No problem Mick, theres some tutorials on the site as well, and I also recommend downloading the plug-ins package too.
