Released! Flight Replicas PA-11 Cub Special, plus Wagner Twin Cub

Hi there, the package is now available at the Flight Replicas store, and soon at other distributor's sites.

http://www.flight-replicas.com/PA-11.htm

We hope you like it!

And while you're on the site, why not have a look at the WIP page. :)

Mike

Excellent!
Should do very well for you Mike!
I'll have to take a gander at the WIP page!

Hi Mike,
How does the PA-11 compare to the Supercub in terms of performance?

Pretty close, overall. Very good cruise speed, at 100 mph. Fundamentally, it's a Super Cub without flaps, and with an overall lower weight is just that much more agile.

An Me-109K and a P-40N? :jump:

Well, with the 109K due to be completed soon, and with some 6500 P-40 factory drawings here, it's harder not to make a P-40N than to make one. So nice having all the exact dimensions to work with. :)

Mike

Could the P-40N lead to other P-40 variants such as the P-40E?

It certainly could - I have the drawings for all variants. It really depends on how well the P-40N is received, just as further variants of the Bf-109 will depend on the 109K.

Mike

A P-40N! - great!...its an aircraft I've long been waiting for in FSX:jump:..an E would be nice as well. Hopefully we will see some RNZAF schemes for it.

oh that twin looks nice, next month i guess after the xmas shopping has been paid off from the credit card

Ok, a blatant piece of self-advertising here, so be warned! ;)

I'm sure not everyone thinks this, but this mini review over at FlightSim Pilot Shop made my day:

This is as close as you're going to get to the real McCoy sitting at home.
This is possibly the best flight experience I've had with FSX, and all the
dozens of airplanes I've purchased, and the freeware I've downloaded. I did
a few circuits, a flight from St. Jon's, NL to Bell Island in the Wagner
Twin, and I can't remember anything matching the feeling of flying that I
remember when I started in a J3 back in '65. The flight dynamics and feel of
the controls is perfect; the frame rates stay up, and the airplane is easy
to trim out. I have paid twice as much for payware that hasn't given me
anywhere near the total feeling of flight that this airplane does. I have a
40 year flying career to add a bit of weight to this review. Buy it, it's
the best of the best.

And no, I don't know Mr. Pritchett. :)

Hi Mike

Any further news on the P40N?

Edit: should of really put the question in a new thread instead of this one

Looks good Mike. Congrats on the great review.

To be honest I'm impatiently waiting for your ultra SuperCub
