Has this happened to you? It has confounded and eluded me for so long until I recently started some new textures and effects on the Beech Expeditor.
There is a conflict between the black.dds texture in the main Effects/FX Textures folder and the black.dds texture in the Expeditor texture folder. They have different alpha requirements. This will either produce the FX starring effect or the Expeditor's leading edge holes to be invisible.
I renamed the Expeditor's texture to blakk.dds and this fixed the problem but you will also have to hex edit the Expeditor's M3D and make the naming change there too.
Absolutely NOT criticizing Pat Pattle or his Expeditor, just pointing out the texture conflict.
