Ever wondered what would happen if you removed the Targetcategory entry from the gun xdps?
I gave it a "shot" recently in one of my testbed installs. Then forgot I'd done it. Then wondered why all the confounded artillery and tanks along the frontline were shooting at my flight!
Every now and again one of my escorting aircraft would blow up when hit by the unconventional AA.
It seems as though the 105mm artillery, and the tank caliber guns prioritise aircraft as targets, if you delete the targetcategory entry in gun xdps. Also the big guns on ships engage you at some huge distance when they do not have a "targetcategory=ships" entry.
Has anybody else noticed this situation?
