These are part of the "Hawker Heros" package, and perhaps the better of the bunch. I like the FCS Wellington, and their Tempest, Typhoon and Hurricane as well. I was dissapointed with their Fury for FS9.yeah i'd also like to know opinions on this bird as i've been a long time flier of the Hanvey & Barry Tempest Mk.VI...
In FS9, I guess I'm spoiled with Eckert's and GAS STearman's with all their detail. Their FS9 Fury model has a few missing external parts on my install. Perhaps its better in FSX, but not in FS9.I have the Hero's package (FSX) also... best of the bunch is the Fury, Tempest is nice also. Their silver Hurricane is my favorite! Will be adding this repaint, nice work RobH!

Saying that, it seems like each of these are incomplete. The textures and VC are great, but I had to find replacement sounds with more gusto. Some of the gauges just don't work for me as expected - unfortunately they are part of the model so they can't be swapped out for more workable gauges.
I have the Hanvey & Barry Tempest as well, which is a little outdated compared to the FCS models. These have more repaint options than the FCS models; however, I really like the paints for the FCS versions.
Other than that, I hope that Rob's repaints will add a little more interest for me as they tend to stay in the hangar more than the flightline.

Hi Rob,
I have a Tempest V on my hard-drive that came as a Spit/Tempest combo from Just Flight that I downloaded back in 2005. Thought that your re-paints of the Tempest V in the Firstclass Simulations 'Hawker Heroes' combo was the same model as mine. It is obviously not.
Do you know what date Firstclass Simulations issued the 'Hawker Heroes' combo pack? I am trying to establish if there is any connection between the two models.
The Tempest model I have was produced by Marc Siegel with sounds by the venerated Mike Hambly and gun-effects by Martin Wright. Any connection with the model you have done the excellent skins for?
Rgds
and thanks for your efforts
