Linda's phone is a couple of years old and about on it's last leg. Her company supplies her with a Blackberry but she had to turn it back in because it bit the dust...lol....less than a week. Anyway we are with Verizon and she has just a standard phone. I know when you upgrade to one of them high end phones you also have to buy the extra services which sucks. I know some of you guys own them phone and I have no idea which one to look at or get. I was wondering if you could post your experience with the one you own. She really likes the touch screen. I want to stay with Verizon because they give our company 30% discount because we have a large corporate account.

I have read good things about the new Driod Torch phone. It is a full screen iPhone type. Verizon handles it, I believe.

I've got cel phone, FIOS internet and TV with Verizon. Always had good experience and service from them. Don't know squat about the new multi-function phones, I just use a basic Motorola cel phone and refuse to "text". . .

:running:

I've got a Razor from At&t the biggest "problem" I find with it is the multi-tap for texting.
I'm sure there'll be an "expert" come along shortly with all the information you'll need to know.

Yeah I've been looking at those Driod phone and I am leaning towards it but don't know doo doo about them. Linda loves the Blackberry when it was working because she can get her work email while traveling. I also like the screen too. She doesn't text message but once in a while...lol. da buttons are to small for me...Toast, we do have Verizon phone and internet...am thinking of FIOS but have held off.

How about a non-working one?

After all, you know what the combination of "woman" and any form of "phone" usually means for you...;)

:d

I love my Blackberry. Two of us have them at work, and another employee has a Droid (don't know which one). I said I would never own a cellphone. I HAD TO get one for work two years ago and loved it. Then along came the Blackberry ...... and the love continues! LOL! So nice to be able to get online to look stuff up when we are out or on the road.

Vickie has a Blackberry with Verizon and loves it. I use her old Env-2 which works just fine for me.

I've had a Droid for about 6 months now and love it. The internet is way faster than it was on the Blackberry. No more "battery pulls". All kinds of apps to download. Lots of customization options. Syncs with GMail good. The Google Maps app is a really good GPS. I just really like the phone. Now I would switch to the iPhone in a minute if Verizon got 'em, but that ain't happening anytime soon.

I have heard nothing but great things about BlackBerry. Sorry hers quit ahead of time.

I have never owned one though, so I have no background with them.

You also hear tons about Droids.

What a difficult decision... Maybe go phone 'looking' at a local mall. Just be 'strong' against the salesmen that are pushing these things.

(I suggest an iPhone, but its ATT, (cough) so thats the bad side... But, she could have all her family pictures, music, podcasts, movies, TV shows on the iPhone, along with the iCal business organizer, etc. You can also link a wireless keyboard to the iPhone now and do high speed MMS text chatting... )
