Replacing Pilot Figures

Hi all,

I was going though the aircraft I have in my personal file library and doing some house cleaning. One thing I've been doing is using an alpha texture from my Sky Unlimited Mustangs to make the drop tanks invsisble to make pilots invisible the adding the US_Pilot, Brit_Pilot, or the Jap_Pilot in the dp file.

My question is if the pilot texture is a part of other textures, is it still possible to "alpha out" the pilot textures without wiping out the other textures that are a part of the same tile? Two examples are Paul Rebuffet's Bf109s and Bruce Thorson's P-40B/Cs.

Thanks in advance,

TW

Hi TW,

That depends on how the model is built. Some use custom textures inclued in the model "texture" folder some use the stock texture found in the Main texture folder.
