Revisionist History?

n4gix

SOH-CM-2016
I just happened to tune in to the last hour of today's re-broadcast of the Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi...

They've completely replaced the original music at the end (which I didn't like as much as the original), but...

...they've also replaced the "ghost" of Anakin Skywalker with Hayden Christensen!

I'd not realized that George Lucas had indulged in a bit of reverse revisionism... :173go1:

Yup I noticed that on the DVD set of the original trilogy. Kind of stupid if you ask me... I like the old trilogy how it was.

Actually, I own a copy of the original versions on DVD, as well as the later re-release of them with some additional scenes that were cut from the original movie (Director's Cut).

I also have the original trilogy on VHS tape... :)

None of them have been opened however. Perhaps they'll be worth something, some day... :ernae:
