REX weather

A question for the people who have it.

How current is the weather data that is received by the program, I only ask as as MSFS normally has a 3 hr delay in live weather. Living a tropical area that's in a wet and monsoonal region this time of yr,

Ive noticed MSFS is a few hours out to live weather.

Does REX import the live weather from MSFS or use another source for data?

Weather is real-time METAR-based, updated 6x an hour based on NOAA data.

Pretty accurate around here, but I live around Seattle so if it shows gray overcast this time of year it's going to be accurate 85% of the time without even checking the Internet. :)

thanks, after pondering about it for a while, i went ahead with it. A drastic improvement over the delayed stock MSFS live weather depictions.
