I cant seen to get the gauge to show in Dinos T45. The gauge is working fine with the CVN65, for the VLSO but the actual 2d window when i press the relevant keys pops up as a dark shadow briefly than dissapears and doesnt show. Havnt tried it with any other aircraft yet. Any one any ideas, and yes the gauge is registered in cfg.

I have tried to add this to both my Grumman C1A COD from Milton Shupe and also my freeware Grumman HU-16 Albatross. I have tried using both FS Panel Studio and a straight tex add-on of the "Quick Add" from the Readme. The gauges are all visible in 'FSPS but when clicked in FSX they briefly blink a black window and do not show up. Any thoughts? I thought I once had them working in a previous version but the latest V4.1 or V4.2 are the blink and disappear.

Check the numbers of the windows in the panel.cfg very carefully and accurately. I think you got a mistake in the numbering. Attach the panel.cfg so I can take a look?

EDIT: Window05 gauge line :gauge01=RFN_CarrierGauge!Aircraft_Carrier_Indicato r, 0, 0, 170, 220.. should read Aircraft_Carrier_Indicator (without a space in the o and r). When I look at it here in the edit page, it looks fine as does the original. For some strange reason.. the 'read' page on the forum is showing this space.

TACAN still not there

I followed all your suggestions but I still get the same result. I click the icon for the pop up window to appear and for a split second a black box appears and then nothing. I even tried to activate the TACAN window in the Instrument view but nothing still happens. Here is my panel cfg I have created a copilot window for this.

I followed all your suggestions but I still get the same result. I click the icon for the pop up window to appear and for a split second a black box appears and then nothing. I even tried to activate the TACAN window in the Instrument view but nothing still happens. Here is my panel cfg I have created a copilot window for this.

Have had that problem several times in the past. Most recently it was resolved and was caused by having out of date or incorrect panel.cfg entries that did not map to the most recent RFN guages.
 
Gauge not showing

Remember to declare the gauges in the VC section as described. Or else they will not load.
They are all in "0" values, so the are just for loading.

I pointed that typo out in my post rotorhub. For reasons unknown.. when I look at it in 'EDIT'.. it's fine. I even typed that line again but still it comes out wrong when I post!! Darned computers!!!:banghead:

I noted that tcygijoes config doesn't have any VC entries yet my tracker does??

No VC

I prefer to use the 2D cockpit in the Trader but have added the VC from your panel cfg to see if it makes a dif. I appreciate all the help. Interesting side note. If you have been following the NAS Alameda post, I am ready to post the latest version. Last night having the TACAN charts for Runways 31/13 I wanted to adjust the frequencies of the ILS on those runways in ADEX. TACAN channel 78X is 113.10Mhz in equivilent VOR...guess what? You cannot enter any frequency over 111.95Mhz. According to the ADE help manual, its because the ADE provides only those frequencies that do not conflict in FSX. Anybody want to jump in here? "Scruffyduck"? BTW, your software is awesome and I wouldn't have even attempted Alameda without it.
 
Added the VC

Having added all the VC to my panel .cfg I fired up FSX, went out to Parking 10 at NAS Alameda in the Trader and the TACAN comes up, stays and operates. Gonna check it out in the air later with some CarQuals. Thank you all for your help. If anyone can tell how to change the ILS freq's at NAS Alameda to Channel 78X and 78Y on Rwys 31/13 pop in for all to be enlightened.
