This texture represents the Spitfire MkVc, BR124/U-2. No 603 Squadron, Operation Calender, USS Wasp, 20 April 1942. Spitfires were repainted while aboard the carrier in what pilots describe as a "dark blue" on all upper surfaces leaving the original markings visable...
