Rhumbaflappy mesh in FSX?

Sidney Schwartz

Charter Member 2012
I've been using rhumbaflappy's mesh in FS9 and think it's great. I have a buddy who's asking if it works in FSX. Anyone know the answer? Thanks. :wavey:

Sidney,
I believe the answer is yes, because Dick created it for CFS2. The reverse would not be true - mesh created for FSX will not work in either CFS2 or FS9. To be more accurate, it's a question of which SDK was used in the creation of the mesh,
regards,
Ro

Hi Sidney.

As an experiment, I deleted all the FSX mesh and added what I made for CFS2. It worked just fine.

But I don't recommend deleting the base mesh... it was just a test. I think much of the default mesh is already at LOD8, so my mesh might not show up. Try it and see. If it doesn't work, you can just deactivate the folder through the Scenery Library.

Moving the Scenery Library position lower might force it to be used.

Dick
