I would call your attention to the end of the video - slow enough to finish fast enough to win - this is the essence of why Jimmie Johnson is so good. That day and a half (probably less) that he refers to sitting alone in the desert waiting for a truck to rescue him - taught him so much. I've read about it in a couple places. It is the essence of Jimmie Johnson and why he meshes so well with Chad Knaus. Jimmie is as knowledgeable and talented a driver as most any out there but he has an edge - he knows the meaning of discipline - that is why he is - four in a row - working on five. Go Jimmie!
