• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

I have "discovered" the Manfred Jahn/Jan Visser C-47 this past weekend, and to say I am smitten with my "new discovery" is a gross understatement. :encouragement: What a GREAT airplane. I'm about to go off and also "discover" their C-117!

That said, I am wondering if they built any civilian DC-3 variant with the integral airstairs. I've not seen any examples of that in the libraries, etc. Does anyone know if they completed a version that is fully civilianized for airline flyng?

Good chance we might be working on that, gents, but first we have to complete and release the v3.14 iteration. Keep a look out for it.

Keep a look out for the C-47 v-3.14!!! These are great words to bring in the new SOH year. Thanks to all working on the epic project. Definitely one of my favorite aircraft. :encouragement:
