Well, the resolution on YouTube is really bad, but I couldn't resist trying it.
This short fight was lucky: reality was 100 % except engine management.
Enemy was Veteran. But I scored devastating hits with the first shots on both planes, so they weren't much able to manoeuver, I assume.

This was no Campaign flight, so it were just these two SPADs.
In Campaign, I've only just started (three) carreers. The furthest pilot had two sorties, with 3 claims underway. Not yet confirmed (hope they will give me some at least? I'm not in here for THAT canteen food - Lol!)
 
You look like you will soon be a ace.
I can't wait till my copy comes and i can get up there.....

Nice video! Thanks for sharing it. Btw. that Otto Fuchs dva was made of one old b/w picture, but the chicken chasing fox emblem is painted from that picture.

Nice video Oldham54. Don't forget when watching on youtube... look just under the video, bottom right says "watch in high quality" slightly less fuzzy vision.

I picked the skin, cause I like that insignia idea a lot - beautifully made skin.

Thanks for the reminder, Pol, had forgotten indeed.

Made another video with an own skin creation, made for Rickitycrate; but it is very long - must see, if I can get it uploaded. Would be worth it - a treetop level fight of three Albs against three Camels (guess, who wins - grin!)

It was recorded using FRAPS (you can google it), and edited with Windows MovieMaker. Not at all as good quality as NERO VISION, but therefor smaller in size and better for upload to YouTube.

Johnny, it's hard and almost impossible to survive the whole war. Few men were that good and lucky, like Ernst Udet.

You could try another way. Start in the last year, 1918. There, you get planes much better for air combat. When you're good there, go to 1917. And after that 1916. And do the Eindecker last - it's very hard to fly it AND fight.
Just an idea - think about it.
