Ripping Fabric Bug Back?

Since the V1.2 patch, I'm hearing the ripping fabric again. Twice in a 1 hour flight yesterday. Not as loud as in P2, but I never heard it in P3 until after the V1.2 update. Anyone else?
Also, when I reach a waypoint and turn, my wingmen still fly straight for over 1500 feet before I can get them back, having to repeatedly hit R. I would think that they would do a better job staying with me.

yep just had the same thing happen last flight they decided not to stay together and turn but to keep going straight.. also another thing i had happen is when im flight leader and i hit A to attack the flight dives.. could it possibly be a bug?

No fabric rip effect sound changes in 1.2.

Yes the AI wingies do turn slowly at way points we are well aware of this - we will possibly look at this in a future update - they do however turn and catchup.

1.2 was about improving AI behavior and it has done that.

The wingmen practice safe formation techniques while turning and give the leader distance so they can see where he's going to be pointing before they form back up on him.

I've not had the fabric ripping myself, other than when it's supposed to happen (while being shot up). But if it did, damn, a damaged piece got some wind under it and let go.

Most 'issues' can be embraced with a bit of imagination and brought into the immersive fold. Don't immediately think "that's wrong", think immediately of how to consider it real. The above two are perfect examples, in my humble opinion. :)

No fabric-ripping b*g here, and if the enemy are above,my wingies (in pairs) will climb to meet them.

In P2 was the fabric-ripping universal? I cant remember.

THAT'S A FACT! My apprehension at sighting EA has increased by leaps and bounds!

OK, a little more info. When I run P3 at default sound volumes, it seems fine. The other day I had turned up the cockpit sound to 90%, that's when I started hearing the ripping fabric sounds again, though much less noticable than P2. That I had raised the cockpit sound level may not have had anything to do with v1.02. I have lowered the cockpit sound level back to 80% and in the one flight so far, haven't heard the fabric rip.

Yep, I hear the occasional "rip". I just figure "there I go again, damn mess hall beans" and consider that I am lucky to be an open cockpit:wavey:

Yeah nothing changed there, maybe one or two craft crashing or the crump of flak or big guns from time to time.

BTW it's V1.2 not 1.02 - just got to clear that up to not confuse people, as it's been quoted incorrectly in a few places.

Sorry, been flashing back to Nikon camera firmware upgrades. It's tough trying to stay current with 8 forums!
