rising sun install and windows 10

Okay I have been trying unsuccessfully to install rising sun in windows 10. Everything seems okay till my first flight after installing part 7. I have done the thingy and made changes in compatability and administrator. the cfs3 exe will not do anything. I have a vaniila cfs3 install with the exception of changing the exe to the thingy to make the test flight in the vanilla install. I tried installing all 7 parts of rising sun in program files and still no joy.. please help brian
 
bwchaney14, I experienced the same problem. I had to use the No CD CFS3.exe to get the sim started. Once I plugged that in all worked perfectly. I had the original DVD inserted but still no joy until using the No CD exe. Hope this helps.
 
Tom I made the thingy change to the exec. and still get no action. Brian the rising sun installs are loaded with malware according to windows defender.
 
I had a similar problem with McAfee but believe me, there is no malware. I had to disable McAfee to install several add on scenery for example MAW.
