Riyad, Shaikh Isa, Gebel El basur Air Bases ? Not Working !!!!! At all !!!!!!

I ( tried to ) download and install from FlightSim.Com 3 x airbases :

Riyad Air Base ( Saudi Arabia )
Gebel El Basur Air base ( Egypt )
Shaikh Isa Air base ( Bahrain )

These three sceneries have the same following note :
[SIZE=-1]
"The scenery adds hangars, ground equipment, etc. Credits go to MAIW for the scenery objects and AFCAD by Dale Ashcroft."[/SIZE]

The installing result for these 3 sceneries is :

NOTHING AT ALL. DEAD. NIET. NADA. RIEN DU TOUT !!!!!

These sceneries are dead and nothing have been installed at all, following the standard
FS9 scenery installation process.

To be sure my FS9 and installing process was fully ok ! I download and installed
Salalah International Airport from [SIZE=-1]Florian Fermin / OryxSim.[/SIZE]

Not problem at all with the Salalah scenery
My FS9 and installing process is Ok !

Can somebody help me ?

You need to have the MAIW object libraries that come with their packages. The scenery you downloaded doesn't actually come with objects just bgl placement files. The problem is don't actually know which packages he used for the objects. It was the same with his RAF Kinloss scenery but that could be narrowed down to the UK AI packs. I'm guessing that you don't have many MAIW packages? You'll just have start adding some packages and see if anything appears.

ye am so sorry that i didn't tell you which packages i used to create the scenery, they just appeared on my list. So really the more scenery you have on your computer from MAIW the more likely to get the scenery show up.
Sorry about all this, i am no scenery object builder.
but thats the only reason why i could think that the scenery doesn't work, unless you have not checked in the scenery in the addon scenery list

Dale - It might be worth including a list of the MAIW packages you have installed on your system so we could narrow it down a bit.
 
Do I need a specific AI Installer to install MAIW packages ?

Just supposed I am a novice on "AI" and I want to know everyting
about it with step by step detailed instructions.

I am sure there is fully detailed tutorials available about it !
Any web addresses ?

on the left hand side there is the forums, very handy I suggest you register if you want to really get into AI
under that is the package map this brings up a map of the world so you can select packages by country
and under that is military ai models so you can select a package by a specific aircraft model.

Whichever one you select download it, unzip it and double click on the installer point it to your FS9 folder, it should do it automatically unless you have moved it. Once it's finished a HTML will popup and will tell you everything else you need to do to finalize the install, like adding scenery in some cases.
Some of the earlier packages though will be labeled woamil followed by a number, eg. woamil5, in that case the package uses the world of ai installer which needs to be downloaded seperately from here http://www.world-of-ai.com/installer.html
Run that installer, point it to the woamil file and follow the instructions, any problems have a look through the MAIW forums for pointers.

I just discovered MAIW !!!

As 80 % of my FS9 Flights are with Military Aircraft these add-ons will
surely enhance my FS9 experience a lot.

Maybe a usefull (useless) tip

I have found the "MAIW scenery libary" in the "MAIW_army_air_corps_wah-64.zip" at AVSIM. The buildings now appear. All I miss are the ground vehicles. :)))

I have been able to install Shaikh Isa Air Base ( OBBS ).
Before doing it you must install and activate on your FS9 scenery file :

MAIW Scenery Library Objects ;
MAIW World Air Bases Scenery ;

and then

Shaikh Isa Air Base.

Just like "Quax" the buildings now appears but there is still no ground vehicules or equipment.
Help needed !
