This is a repaint for P Strany's Lockheed Hudson III for CFS 2. This repaint depicts a Hudson Mk IIIa of 3 (GR) Squadron RNZAF from Henderson, Guadacanal, December 1942. This aircraft failed to return from a patrol over the central Solomons 18 December 1942. It was discovered in August 1945 that the aircraft had crashed into sea at Rekata Bay, Santa Isobel near a Japanese seaplane base.
