Orders from the Colonel: Pilot, copilot and navigator will transport several high ranking officers to several bases throughout the SW Pacific. The rest of your crew will remain here. Stay out of trouble. No horsing around.
Find your C47 at Malita, pick up Generals party at Davao.

Down at Davao, for the start of this tour. The Duenna shows this as a LR C47, but Iam only using one of the paints. Default DC3.

We are loaded up. Three Generals and their aids. First stop, Morotai. RPMD to WAMR.

Safe down at Morotai. Will be spending the night here.

All fueled up, checked out, and ready to go. First class. Nice when flying brass around. Next stop, Sorong.
WAMR to WASS.

Down at Sorong. Thunderstorms. Will be here all day and over night. The generals are making the most of this tour. Gives us some time to relax.

Heading for Biak. WASS to WABB.

Safe and sound at Biak. Nice clear day, but the wind could not make up its mind which way to go.

Ready to go. WABB to WAJJ.

Down at Hollandia. Hot and humid. Outside air temp was at 40C.

Down at Gusap. Good weather all the way. We will be here for the night. We got word our crew, at Davao, are being sent to Munda.

Top of the morning all. Kinda nice flying the brass to all these bases. Good food, good sleep, a very well maintained aircraft.
