Robs new Whirlwind

Surprised to see no post about the new Westland Whirlwind that Rob Carrich has just graced us with.

Being a big Whirlwind fan I am thrilled to see this new version.

Thanks so much Rob.

Quick question tho - How do we use the radio? I can't seem to change the frequency.

Thanks
Gavin

Thanks for the radios Rob.

Out of curiosity do the leading edge slats work on this model? I haven't been able to trigger them yet.

thanks
Gavin

Slats on prototype only.
Not used on service aircraft as they were wired shut.

Rob

Well I'll be darned, the things you find out on this site. I never realized the slats weren't used in production.

thanks for the info and thanks again for the Whirlwind.

Gavin
