Military AI Works has released another great package by Mark Campbell in the form of the Mirage 2000 fighters of the Republic of China Air Force.

This freeware AI package contains all 57 Dassault Mirage 2000Di/Ei belonging to the Republic of China Air Force, 499th TFW based at Hsinchu AFB RCPO. The ROCAF’s Mirages have the huge task of being the primary front line Interceptor aircraft.

The package includes the FMAI Mirage 2000 and repaints by Graham King along with enhanced air base scenery for Hsinchu AFB by Tony Dalton and Mark Campbell. Enjoy!

And I'm currently packaging up another new one.......

Hint, it's where the US Navy does a lot of aircraft testing.....

Thanks for the HU Frank, this will mesh well with the Formosa Scenery series
It certainly is a daunting task those Mirages have, facing off across a somewhat narrow stretch of water to a very large and antagonistic neighbour!
Is there a flyable ROC M2000? The AVSIM link from your site appears broken.

Be great to see a little military AB scenery in the east at some stage; Taitung, say...some M2000 and F-16's?

Charl, check here, one of those FS9 Mirage 2000 packages for FS9 contains the ROCAF aircraft ...

Yes they generally do.
Hoping not to have to download every single M2000 for export (which probably exceeds my monthly data cap!), I clicked on an "aircraft list" link which was dead.
Any pointers to exactly where a ROC M2000 may be found will be highly appreciated...

Charl, give me a day or so and I will find out for you ... Mike :salute:

..it's probably on your HDD already - mine was.
Mirage_2000E_FS9.exe contains a texture folder called, erm, texture.
That is the plane.

Edit: And I'm also ready for the next edition!

Yeah, I did, but the AVSIM link is dead. I was hoping Frank had a secret supply ;)

Had a little play, Mirage or no...

Great news, look forward to that!

The Avsim link is probably Mike Pearson's repaint for the older Mirage 2000 by Roland Laborie. A lot of his repaints were lost when Avsim's library was hacked way back when. I'm working with him to get that fixed.

He also did an ROCAF texture for the AI Mirage 2000 by Fernando Martinez (same aircraft model used by MAIW in their Miarge 2000 packages). Spotty combined that visual model with a panel a few years ago. You could combine Mike's or one of the textures in the MAIW package with that.

Best bet though is the newer GMAX Académie Mirage 2000 Export version. Those packages can only be downloaded from my website or VFAF. You won't (or shouldn't) find them anywhere else. They gave us exclusive rights to distribute after they stopped downloads.

That's it for FS2004. There is an ROCAF texture included in Roland Laborie's FSX Mirage 2000 package.

Ah. I see you found it.

That's also in the works.

There is a scenery for it...
