Roger55 turns into Roger 58

Howdy

I was Roger55 but I could not remember the ol' password so now I'm Roger58'

I have a new `puter, finally, and, glory be, even Bill Lyons', Luscombe runs at 54-68fps with the pretty girl in the copilots seat, and the standard FS9 stuff runs at 75fps. I never saw the like:isadizzy:.

I guess you folks have metamophized into almost complete warbird stuff.

Well so far all I have added is USA Roads, the Luscombe, and the improved flight model for the JN-4. If any one remembers me they know I like the ol' stuff. Like flying NY to Paris with the sheep.

So if the bossmen need to remove Roger55 from the records I guess they had better. But they probably already have.

See ya at Angels 15.

And as always BEWARE THE STORK.

Welcome back to the site Roger. Yeah, there is a lot of military stuff jumping off in the forums now days, BUT the commerical and GA stuff is represented strongly enough. You will find frequent posts on those areas of aviation history.

Welcome back Roger! There's still a bunch of us around here that likes the civil stuff. We just aint being very vocal lately. ;)

:wavey:Hi Willy. Didn't you have a Blue Jay? Nice to meet you Obio.

Found Active camera 2.1 and the manual, but no monster key number. Can't use the Graf Zepplin :(. And something is wrong with the Lancaster Heavy Duty. Can't get into the pilot seat in VC. Have a code number but was never asked for it when I loaded it. S#%*

Fat lot of good it did me.

Well things just get better and better. I found the AC CD and loaded it. I have a print out wit receipt number autorization key and registration key. I go to the options and AC and click registration. Black screen with a second of some kind of white form. Only way to turn off FS9 is to restart the `puter. Find the site download AC again. Remove and re-install. Same jazz. Put on a patch they had. Nada!:icon34:

Wrote them an email with all the particulars, but who knows. Bought it in 2005. Is there anyone to reply?

Basically it looks like anything that wasn't sent on a CD except for Bill Lyons stuff is just gone. And unfortunately he used AC for a bunch of that stuff.

I had a similar problem with AC activation - but I found that running the AC menus ONLY with FS9 in windowed mode solved to problem - after activation, works just fine in full-screen!

:wavey:Hi Willy. Didn't you have a Blue Jay?

Still do. The rascal is sitting in his cage right now acting all fat and sassy. For those that don't know, about 5 years ago Mrs Willy rescued a baby blue jay from a cat. He's crippled and can only fly about 10 feet and then only in a left hand turn.
