Ron Hill's Avro Lincoln and a Prop Problem

Ravenna

SOH-CM-2023
Hi All,
I've been working on a conversion for the only Avro Lincoln I could find. I've done the DP and repainted her as one of the machines used in Malaya during the '50s by the RAAF (yes, I know it is the wrong mark, but I couldn't find a Mk.30 or 31). My problem is that even though I have been able to replace the ugly black discs with transparent discs they still lack Kelti-style realism. Anybody want a go at this? Oh yes....I can't get the bomb bay doors to open either!
cheers,
Mike

Ravenna, that I think is Ted Cooks Lincoln, I was looking at it yesterday to see if it would work in FSX but it is a old model, search for Avro Lincoln on Flightsim.com there are 2 different models there, one with a nose turret and the other no nose turret which it looks as if it is the one you have, the bomb doors I think should work with the / spoiler key.

Hmmm, age must be catching up with me. I always used to tell students to be careful when citing references. I just had another look at the readme, and the name Ron Hill seems to refer to the author of one of the gauges used. I still can't open the bay doors and the prop disc textures are :banghead: ! Thanks for the info Rich.

Hi Ravenna,
If memory serves me right. The bomb doors never opened in CFS2.It was one of Teds early models. Not quite upto his current standard.

Oh well......she still looks good. Perhaps someone could do more realistic props. Do we have a Pinturiccio of the propellor in the house?
