Thanks TuFun!!! I have them all... and will grab this one when it becomes available. You have given new life to the Sanderson Stearman, which is a real hard act to follow. Beautifully done sir! :salute:

As a young Ensign my dad learned to fly in one of those. never seen a USN one with a single cockpit before. You see a lot of them in colorful paint jobs today, but he said that during training they were yellow, just yellow.

First I would like to thank TuFun for these great liveries for the magnificent Stearman! Great job!
Secondly I would like to find a solution to the ground shadow issue with Bob Sanderson's AC.
I suppose I would need access to the source file to make any corrections, and even then my knowledge wouldn't allow me to do this.
It also appears on his wonderful Hurricane, just not so obvious.
I unfortunately haven't got any contact details for Robert Sanderson.
The following screenshots should explain the issue...

Just saw this Stearman at the National Naval Aviation Museum at Pensacola NAS in Florida. Of course I immediately thought of your work when I saw it hanging from the ceiling.

Here it is:

Always nice to see pics of the Stearman... interesting to note that the Model 76 was armed. I guess a .45 sidearm is an armed version! ;)

Super sharp Navy Stearman... sheer beauty!!!

I haven't really noticed the shadow anomoly until you pointed that out.

Just a guess as I know very little about how things work in making models, but I did notice when you are in VC mode and use the number keys to walk out to the side of the Stearman, all landing gear is missing.

Would maybe the shadow be tagged somehow to the VC script when it should be tagged to spot view script, since the shadow shows no evidence of any landing gear? Again, I know very very little about how those things work or are put together in making models or how they display. Just a guess.

How does one update this Stearman to version 2. I only see the original model in the files which I have had a long time, but the new paints won't work on it.
