Not sure the status of the 2018 event. This round is open to anyone interested in racing. Have some fun and good luck!

Particulars:

Start ICAO = EGPH, Scotland

End ICAO = RKSS, South Korea

Rules:

1. Any airport in the default FSX/PD3/FS2004 database can be used.
3. Max leg length 500nm. (More reps this way).
4. Real time and weather.
4. Aircraft type = Please keep it focused on whitelisted aircraft. The occasional jetliner is okay as I am assuming they will be used in the race on a limited basis.
5. Time limit on all legs is the standard 2hrs.
6. Post results in this thread.

You can start anytime.

Whitelist for Eligible Race Aircraft:

Do those aircraft on the white list conform to P3D V4.1? Also a lot of the aircraft on the list don't work well in P3D V4.1

I'm in Chaps - it'll make a welcome break from flying busses.

Phantomtweak will get his arse into gear at some point I'm sure - we all know that. (Love you Pat)

Come On - let's do those Avsim Amateurs!!! :jump:

Let's win it for Dave B

Good question Pat. I am not a P3D user yet so I don't know. Hopefully the race committee can address this.

I'm working on it, but I keep grinding the darn things. Maybe if I double clutch it...:biggrin-new:
First leg tomorrow AM. Details as soon as I make the legs' flight plans :D And fly a leg or three, naturally, but hey, details details :encouragement:

Pat☺

I have the Baton EGPH to EKVG in the Grumman Bearcat Long Range

First run of FS in almost a year....

Hope for the best

Everything running fine with the exception of breaking my rudder petal toe brakes before takeoff. The right one flops around now.

About 40 minutes until Impact. :encouragement:

Naturally for my first flight in a long time it is at night, low visibilty and there was a mountain on Approach.

I felt like a rookie again. :encouragement:

I have the Baton EKVG to BIVM in the Grumman F7F SOH in FSX

also on Join FS (Sim-outhouse.net server) to see if it works.

If there is a race this year, I will be there. And I'll be in this practice too, but right now my flight sim computer is in dry-dock. I finally got sufficiently tired of parking that big beast either under the desk, or somewhere else where it's difficult to get to if I need to take the side off to blow out the dust, or get to the USB cables in the back, or get to the darned thing for any reason. So I ordered a small equipment rack from Amazon. It's steel, black, and has lockable wheels. So the computer(s) will sit on top, and the USB power supply(s) and whatever else will sit on the bottom shelf. And I will get some long USB cables. So I will be able to easily access the thing whenever I want to. It will be here on Wednesday. Isn't Amazon great? You click on something you want, and it shows up three days later! So once I'm back up I will run some practice flights.

Evnin' gents. Me thinks stuff is still in order so I'll get setup for the next leg, can wing with dave if he wants or stike out on my own.

Baton is free at BGKK.
