RUBICS CUBE AT NASSAU MYNN

SOH-CM-2025
Hi All

I have found that when I fly into Nassau whether using the default airport or a freeware version of MYNN I find a large blue & white box at the approach end of RWY14. I found an old AVSIM forum mention of a similar problem at MYNN and that was found to be linked to other add-on scenery locally. I don't have any of those files loaded. If I remove all my add-on airports and scenery files it goes away. I think its a placeholder of some sort as I have tracked the object image it down to a couple of the ContentInfo file on some freeware military airports. I am starting a long trial and error process of removing and testing every airport /scenery / scenery object file I have in my addon linker files. However I did wonder if anyone might know more about this and whether there is a smarter (quicker) way to find the culprit file.

It could be a file library object. Many freeware sceneries use file libraries so I'd begin by removing all those object libraries first and if the cube disappears, re-install them one by one until you find the culprit.

Known issue - even though the dev's don't seem to care...
