• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

I don't know anything about this, but there may be some of our members and visitors who care & have the money.

Linus Tech Tips released today a short video of the RX 6950 XT video card that has come out. I do not have the money much less the Mobo and stuff to handle this card.

We, the flight sim folks did get a brief nod on performance compared to the other video cards out there, if you can get your hands on one!

Now folks, remember the original MSRP of the RTX 30 series cards that came out in Sept. 2020. I had snapped this shot from the NVidia web site a couple of days before their launch. Look at the prices back then and what they go for now after the crypto kiddies hoarded them all up!

This should (hopefully) mean a drop in price and more availability for the slightly less new cards.
 
I also have a GTX 1080 with 8 gigs RAM, and I'm not about to pay one penny over the MSRP in my post above! I'll also have to have *proof* that the card is brand new from Nvidia.
