Ryan PT-22 Recruit Help Needed

Hey all,

I am starting a new independent aircraft project, corresponding with a modeling class for school. I will be building and texturing the exterior of the Ryan PT-22, the "Maytag Messerschmitt," my first from-scratch aircraft creation in 3DS Max, over the course of the next three-four weeks, at which time I will be done with the course and into building the interior. As I am relatively new to this aircraft, though I have had an eye for its looks for quite some time, would anyone here happen to know of any sites dedicated to the aircraft, or detailed-image galleries. At this time I am trying to build up as big of a data-base as I can with every last detail - though I am pretty much set on the exterior, it is the interior which I need most help with. What I could really use, if anyone can find them, are photos and drawings of the frame work of the interior, and of course any links to good cockpit details - of which stock configuration would be best.

I'll post some updates on the progress by week's end - I currently have the fuselage, vertical stabilizer, windscreens, and wings modeled. Also, if anyone is directly involved with a PT-22, has flown one, etc., it would be great to have a pilot report on its handling characteristics - all I know is that you have to be very mindful at slow speeds, because there is little to no warning about a possible stall.

Any chance of the project expanding to include the original Ryan ST too? Such a beautiful aircraft, and the only one for FS is Bill Lyons' rather long-in-the-tooth early FS9 model.
