Safir: finally reinstalled

jankees

SOH-CM-2025
After my total reinstall of FSX on my new computer, I discovered yesterday I had competely forgotten to reinstall the Safir....
Of course I could not find any more files, but a mail to sibwings got me an instantrelpy and she takes to the skies once more!
This was always my favorite paint:

I understand and empathize with your need for this aircraft, Jankees! It's a plane one doesn't want to be without, for too long.

A while back, when I first heard of the Safir in the Forums, I couldn't see what all the fuss was about. It was such a plain, unremarkable aircraft -- or so I thought, then.

So after a while, I leaned toward the theory that so many clever people surely cannot be collectively wrong: I bought the Safir and took to flying it up and down the valleys of Orbx's PNW a number of times. What a perfectly delightful aircraft to fly!

So now, I'm much like you: In the event of a crash or a re-install of FSX, the stalwart Safir would be one of my top few aircraft that "must be installed"!
