A few shots of my repaint for the SU P-38 in the colors of Saint Exupery over a foggy Corsica, by France VFR. I hope you like them.

Man, I love that second to last shot of him banking over to make the final approach. You can almost hear those engines turnin'. . .superb!!:ernae:
 
OK Jankees need to ask. I have the fs9 version of Corsica, is that what yours is, too? I'd like to get my FVFR stuff in fsx if I can.

Beautiful work. I'm a huge Saint Ex admirer - will have to add that paint.

A question - I'd seen his F-5 represented in a blue paint, like the one represented on this die-cast model. But in checking this afternoon, I also came across references for the metal paint you've used. Did he fly two different F-5's for Group 2/33?

He must have flown several F-5's, I also have a pic of him in an earlier model. He wrecked at least one too, the americans weren't happy with this old guy flying combat...
I've seen several drawings of this aircraft, the one in which he died, all different, both in the markings and the colors. They actually fished up some of the wreckage not too long ago, but I was not able to find any pic showing blue paint, so I decided to go for the metal one. The stripes on the rudder was my choice, there was also enormous variety in French rudder markings, but I thought this looked best...

Have em both, thanks. I'm thinking the difference between their FS9 and FSX sceneries are the installers.

Hi Lou, I know I have some "add-on" files I downloaded where I purchased the FS9 versions that were small "update" files to make the France VFR scenery files compatible with FSX. There wasn't one for all of their FS9 scenery, but many of them have an update file.
 
Great Idea Jankees, I have one folder with all my FVFR scenery in it I can just copy that folder over to my new PC and install activate it in FSX outside of the FSX install. :jump:

I'd known he mangled one, but wasn't aware of all the variations. Ah, something new to explore...
