Id like to share my idea with backlight for Saitek panels. I always had a problem in the night, when was too dark in the room (and Saitek panels hasn't own backlight).
So I decided to add to my home cockpit strip with lighting (leds, full RGB, made in China
, brighness +/-). The result (after modification of the quantity and length) is very ok I think:
