Just to let you know, I am running a little sale on the Wittman Tailwind this weekend.

$12.00 Dollars (US, Denaro, Clams) buys you a brand new, shiny Tailwind. Engine not broken in, fresh oil, new Avionics, and a 'virtual' iPhone as well for some tunes to listen to on your virtual FS trips.


This ends at midnight Sunday night, Phoenix time. Phoenix has a rare time zone that does not fluctuate, and lives at negative 7 Zulu, (for those that live on the far side of Earth).


If you are low on funds, want something new for FS2004 to fly in, do not want something big like a 737, DC3, and want something simple with no learning curve, no glass panels, etc, then this little hot-rod might be for you.

Its not 'tooo' bad on gas mileage either. :d

Thank you for the sale, Bill....It was a much needed reason to acquire this wonderfully simulated aircraft. With money being tight these days, It is always good to still be able to 'indulge'...

When the Tailwind first came out I was soooooo tempted to get it. But I was strong. :running:

But today ..... at $12 ...... what the heck :isadizzy: .... to resist was futile :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

Thanks Bill for the Tailwind :applause: :applause: .... it's a real blast and it's going to go into strips it probably shouldn't but I'll wash it regularly.

Wow! Got to d/l and it is saying 4 Hours! Wonder why it is so slowwww? Ed :isadizzy: Now at 47 min.... sigh A bit faster!! Grin....
 
I started my download and went off to watch the GP, on my slow connection and at 365MB it's still going well after the race finnished, well done Fizzy!!

Which weathered paint scheme? There is the older greenish one. Remember to select through the various types of planes. There is the W-8, the W-10, and the Trike. Some paints on the 8 are not in the 10.

That it is! Flew from Mackinac Island to Cadillac (where I live in the real world!)...And I think the paint I was thinking of was the one in the shot (old yeller).
 
Ahh.. Roger that. I hear that is some awesome country up in there.

I am sure you have heard about the KPLN airfield scenery. One of the hottest airport scenery packages I have seen for FS9 in a while.

Oh yeah! I got that one, and though it tends to tax my machine, it's one of my favorites...can't say I like to go to the real one in the winter!
