Saving CFS resources

The OP is a staff name, used occasionally for important announcements. You'll find a similar post in most sim-related forums here, perhaps still appropriate with the soon demise of Reg's Hanger.
 
It's a plea to all interested to compile reference lists for CFS-related material and keep them as stickies on the forums. Rather like Nigel's Knowledge Base thread above.

The problem with a lot of material on CFS (and FS too) is that it's in lots of different places around the net, or was - lots of sites have disappeared. These stickies, and reuploads, would help reduce the time spent Googling when the googler might not know quite what to look for. It's a real problem with CFS/FS modeling resources too.

As a f'rinstance, the set-up for 2048x2048 textures is on Reg's Hanger, but is it anywhere else? It's not in the Knowledge Base (qv). Yet.
