Savoia Marchetti SM74 conversion released for CFS2!

Manuele Villa did a very nice model for FS9. The model doesn't have a VC.

Perhaps it can be converted.

Cheers,
Huub

Wow. That would sure make a nice addition to the CFS2 Hangars!

PS: Very nice video!

One of the reasons i like IL-2 '46 so much. Much is being done at SAS1946 . One of my favorite sims. Have 5 installs and love every one of them.More of a challenge to fly and fight than CFS3 or CFS2. Still enjoy CFS3 and CFS2 though. Still a lot of work is being done to IL-2 '46 that it is mind blowing. Regards,Scott

Hey sixstrings can you recommend a straightforward package for IL246? I tried doing CUPS and had so many headaches I gave up. Anything that doesn't involve a gazillion downloads? I don't want all-encompassing, just ww2 theaters.

Hi All,

The S 74 converts OK.
The elevators don't animate.
I am looking to see if I can fix it.

B24Guy

Hey wicklund, i recommend VP modpack . It can be found at sas1946 website. Very easy to install and download-(torrent). Covers WWII only and is my favorite one to play. Look in the sas essentials/basic mods section to find it.

Most cool. Thanks for the tip!

And sorry for interrupting the thread... :cower:

Hi All,
I got the elevators to animate and a VC view. (no VC panel as yet)

Anyone have any suggestions as to an air file to use as a starting point?

B24Guy,

You might try touching bases with Uncle Target.

See this thread

UT is working on some similar conversions, specifically: an Aviation Trader Carvair, an Armstrong Whitworth Argosy and a Blackburn Beverley. He might be able to steer you in the right direction.

The Blackburn Beverly, the first AC pictured in his post, looks pretty similar.

Good idea MR.
I have made good progress on the air file. Put a basic gauge panel in the VC.
I will need help with the gauges for the panel.
