Scenery Library Set-Up

OK another one of those newby questions. In FS2004 I had a folder called "Static Object Library" where I put things such as "EZ Objects" and the like. Can I do the same thing in FSX ? Do all the "objects" that worked in FS2004 work in FSX, such as EZ Objects", and what texture libraries are must have such as "VOD" ?

I like to keep them in a separate folder. Then in FSX settings, click on Scenery Library, add area. Navigate to the new area and add it. It works for FSX and FS9. The only difference is that you have to restart FS9 for it to rebuild the scenery database.
