I am trying to build a small reference library for myself on tips in CFS2, so that
I don't have to keep bothering people with repitious questions that pop up when my brain farts :isadizzy:and I can't remember where something goes:banghead:
Scenery mesh;
1) is it best to put that in the scenerydb\world\scenery folder, or to load it into the game and then put activate it into the game by means of the settings function?

2) if scenery function, does it go before or after the "default terrain" and before the rest of the library hierarchy.

Is there a list anywhere as to which meshes work best with what scenery terrain?

Thanks in advance

PS Miami Eagle I am sure you have the info somewhere !:wavey::ernae:

Hi Fibber.

I would NOT place it into scenerydb\world\scenery folder.

You could place mesh into a scenery folder and add it with the Scenery Library... after the default terrain.

I don't think there's anything wrong with adding it last to the Library, but it wouldn't hurt having it near the default.

Wasn't sure about scenerybb and that is where the gaseous brain kicked in. So I guess right after the Default Terrain is the best ( or at least won't hurt (that much as a doctor would say!))
