Scenery object tutorial?

I'm well versed in 3dsmax (use it for living, space shuttle in the avatar as an example) just not sure of the process for getting something modelled in Max to appear in FSX as scenery or the like. I've been looking around for a simple tutorial about doing this without much luck, does anyone have a link to something like this?

I recently got the SDK installed though I haven't delved into it at all. Maybe all I need to know is in there?

If you've got the SDK installed and configured, you should see the "Aces Tools" and "Aces Documentation" menus in Max. Have you gotten that far yet?

I installed it, but didn't get as far as configuring anything. I'd noticed some disabled items in the CFG which shows the drop downs within FSX though. Maybe I'll poke around at that later, and hit some of these links in the meantime. I have an idea that I think might be neat, but just need to sort out how to get my stuff from A (Max) to B (FSX).

Also, bear in mind that you've got the whole world of FSX materials ahead of you to learn first. With your Max experience, it shouldn't be too tough. Just know that it's not quite as simple as pressing "export".
