Any ideas will be welcome - btw: I have d/l most EZ scenery and Runway 12 scenery. Found many missing texture files for this scenery - just not this building. Thanks in advance.

You shouldn't need any 3rd party textures to see everything, including that building. My suggestion is to uninstall, do a quick defrag, reboot and then install one more time. You may have had a hiccup in the installation.

dunno if it depends on which version you have, ie, download, hard-copy, version, fs2002 updated, etc. but there is an update for it, I have it on my HD,but can't remember if I needed it or not, was to long ago now.

It's called 'emma_patch_2004_100.zip', readme states as follows.....

====================================================
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
====================================================
Depending on the method you used to get the
distribution zip file, most probably by downloading
it from the Internet of found in the EXTRA folder in
most of the 2004 LAGO CD products, you should now
located it.

****************************************************
*** NOTES FOR EMMA FIELD 2002 USERS ONLY! ***
****************************************************

We found out there are some 3rd parties addons allowing
FS2002 version users to be able to use Emma Field 2002
with FS2004.

During the beta testing stage we discovered that these
addons may create some problems with Emma Field 2004,
if you are using any of them, please read the the
following.

* Restoration Pack

If you followed the installation instructions you should
have a folder in "ADDON\SCENERY" called "Club House".
This needs to be taken out of FS9 completely and its
entry removed from the SCENERY.CFG file.
You will also need to look in your "ADDON\SCENERY\SCENERY"
folder for AF2_KEWL.BGL and remove it.

The Restoration Pack itself should in theory still work
with the Emma Field 2004 but we didn't test it.

* Tom Constantines AI for Emma

In the "SCENERY\WORLD\SCENERY" folder there is a file named
TRAFFIC_KEWL.BGL: remove it if you plan on using Emma's
own AI as the two get in each others way.

Other add ons will effect the way the Emma scenery looks,
these changes may or may not be to your taste. During testing
no conflicts were noted with these addons. You may want to
disable these at install so you know what a "Clean" Emma
looks like.

* Joe Watsons Cushman Lake stuff

* Leon Louis Emma Extras

* Richard Goldstein's EFFC FBO

* Kurtis Rook's Ultralight Launches, this sits at the top
of the waterfalls

* Some FSE stuff just like:
Cushman.SE2 and Cushman.SC
Emmafield.SE2 and Emmafield.SC

The installer will look in your FS9 folder for any
"Emma*.BGL" file and quits the installation if it found
any.

Thus, before trying to install, it is worth doing a search
of your FS9 directory for "Emma*.BGL" and remove anything
that was found.

We also suggest to download and run ScanAFD and make sure
there are no duplicates "EMMA\KEWL\CUSHMAN" afcads around.

To get ScanAFD search for "ScanAFD.zip" at the main
flight simulation web sites or contact the author:

mention possible conflicts with other add-ons,maybe this might be your problem?

Found it.
The update is available here,

http://secure.simmarket.com/lago-emma-field-2004.phtml

click on the word 'here' in the delivery section. Says it's an upgrade for 2002 users,so maybe not necessary for you? Ifyou do try it, please backup first :redface:

Jamie

Thanks - already install the patch - I started with fs2002 on cd and them did the upgrade patch for fs2004. Maybe I will just fly at night! smile!

My Emma Field Texture folder has a staggering 748 files!!! 43.1MB in size. No idea how to find which ones your missing?!?

Jamie

ed,

Checked mine in FS9, I don't have that building, nor in my Silverwings install, scenery at max complexity too. I tried it in Golden wings and it put me under an untextured airship hovering 2ft over the open ocean!! Maybe it's an addon, I initially thought Golden wings and it does look familiar.

Jamie

Thanks for checking. I bet that it is a third party Emma Field addon. Will continue my search. Again, thanks so much.

Ed

Ed,

I just searched FlightSim for 'Emma Field' came up with 2 pages of results, at least two of them feature your building in the pics, but no mention of included scenery.

I think I may be missing a library object,possibly from an add-on? I'm sure that in Golden wings Emma field put me in the middle of a field of trees with one building,no runway just trees,and no way out. Doesn't act that way now, instead I'm dumped under aforementioned blimp.....located here....

Jamie

Thanks, found the same files. My own install folder has 749 texture files in one install - now I can not find the bldg in my other install......groan.... may have to do a exclude for that bldg. Thank you for your input and efforts.

I have not yet given up!! The search continues.
