Scenery Problem...HELP!

A little over a week ago I installed Ultimate Terrain and Ground Environment Pro to FS9. Got things all ironed out. Looks great.
Then I learned how to install EZ-Scenery and RWY 12 stuff and installed some great airport sceneries from Eric O'Link for my local airport here in Green Bay. Things worked out so nice I installed the rest of his airports for Central Wisconsin, Northern Minnesota and finally Illinois.

This is when the problem started. I had flown at all these airports before adding the next install and all worked fine. After installing the Illinois airports, everything would work fine for a few minutes and then a flash on the screen and then the ground textures all go blurrey. Strange thing though, the airport scenery itself looks fine. This only will happen when I'm flying from one of the newly installed airports (Wisconsin,Minnesota,Illinois). Anywhere else in the world/country is fine.

My question is should I delete everything that is in the scenery and texture folders that are in Add-on Scenery and reinstall everything up to the point just before I installed the Illinois scenery? There were a few things that were needed for this scenery that weren't for the others. Or, will this give me more problems. I don't have that much Add-on scenery. Just some stuff that came with a few planes. I can always reinstall those to get that back if I want.

Or is there an easier way around this?
Here are a few pics showing my problem. The first two are from Washington State. The last four are from Green Bay.
BTW: I did update my video driver.

Any help accepted!

What are your framerates around these airports? When you fly from another airport into these, do you see this happening once you get within a certain range? Looks like they might be high intensity (custom buildings, ground vehicles, AI, etc.), which will drain the sims ability to write anything except the airport until it catches up and then the surrounding scenery will follow until everything is rewritten on the screen. Just a guess though.

I have the sim currently locked at 25fps. It might drop to 24-23 at most.
Like I said before, everything was fine untill I installed the Illinois airports which had a few other EZ/RWY12 items that the other airports didn't need. That's why I'm pretty sure that just deleting the Illinois airports won't do it. It must be it the scenery or texture files of add-on scenery.
At least I think?

:help:

I just deleted the Illinois scenery to see. Still the same. Took off from Green Bay in F-16. Problem goes away about 16-20 miles out. Turn around and head back and the problem comes back.

I have a mid-range system and get this sometimes also. Can't help with the reason except I tend to agree that it is a local brain overload for the PC. If I wait or jump to another airport things resolve. Will be watching to see what develops here.

May be a problem with some of the older EZ textures.

I think it more memory related as its not enough maybe?

Need more info on specs to really tell...

I get that on some freeware aircraft switching views alot...The frames stay up,but the textures lag like yours are showing...

I run XP with 4 gigs @ 1066 too.....

Core 2 Duo 2.33GHz
3 Gigs RAM
GeForce 8600 GT
500 Gig HD

I don't think the system is the problem as I said everything worked fine until I installed the Illinois scenery.

Forgot to mention that I'll try the updates and see how that goes.
Fingers crossed!!!

RATS! I gotta go out with the wife first.
Probably won't get to try it out until tomorrow.
I'll let you know if it helps.

Thanks for the help guys.

Please try the suggestion of our Kiwi colleague. (This blurring is a common problem with some EZ Scenery textures.)

Just had it happen over NYC but again it cleared in about 15 sec. When I closed FS an FSUIPC error box was waiting, unable to link or something. The plot thickens?

Ok Ihave plugged 4 hour of flight in and around Green Bay. I have Fight enviroment pro/GE pro and my own Cheesehead mesh for the green bay area. Using the KGRB scenery by eric o link and the 702mb ez-scenery lib. During all touch and gos with taxi, no blurries. Same result flying betwwen KGRB and KATW. Now I have seen this problem before and im sure its a texture issue at KGRB with a blue hanger at the end of the runway. This I know because on my beta comp when you taxi towards that object everything goes blurr as in Tom's pic. Wonder if there is a conflict in textures/objects between Rwy12 and ez. I have only Ez Scenery lib no rwy 12 and get no blurries. Possible theory??

UPDATE:
Just installed the texture updates and all seems good to go!
Haven't been able to put in some real time but I flew for about ten minutes over Green Bay and nothing happened! This is much longer than it was taking to go bad before. Will have to put in some more airtime to see for sure. Will let you know if it holds up. First up though, more family things to do before the big games later today.
Can't thank you guys enough. This really is the best flight sim sight on the web!
Special thanks to ***** for the updates! :applause:
Tom

Been flying for awhile and everything is as good as new!
Reinstalled the Illinois airports and they seem fine too. Will need to spend more time flying there to be sure.
Thanks again everyone.

You're welcome, Tom.
The blurries nearly drove me crazy, as they affected most of Lawrie Roache's many EZ-based NZ sceneries. Sidney took note and saved the day!

I'd also wondered how I could have a handle that only displayed in the side panel and nowhere else...didn't know it was a badword.
Maybe I'll go for Wing_Z. Interesting thing is if you change the font of a letter, it displays OK: WingZ
