I have suddenly developed a scenery problem for which I cannot find a cure.

I have photo scenery installed, but for some obscure reason in parts, the default scenery has suddenly appeared with small patches of photo scenery bleeding through. It was working fine when first installed, as far as I know, I have altered nothing. Most photo scenery is working fine, except for a small area.

I have tried the repair option, but that wasn't available so reinstalled without success. I have tried moving the scenery level (right up to top spot) with no luck.

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem is and, more importantly, how to cure this irritating problem?

difference in elevation (terrain mesh) between photoscenery and default or other add-ons causes this, including autogen meant for 'custom' or 'default' mesh

I had more or less worked that out for myself, but what I want to know, is why it changed for no apparent reason and what do I have to do to rectify the fault?

Is the scenery your having problems with the last bit of scenery you installed, or have you installed anything else scince, sometimes they can interfear with each other even if there quite some distance apart.

I have cured the fault. It was a case of not seeing the woods for the trees. Ian set me onto the right path, cheers :ernae: Ian. I had installed an add on scenery, but the scenery designer had placed landclass bgl's with the scenery bgl's and I had missed one. Now it has een deleted, the photoscenery works perfectly.
