Could some one do me a favor and go to my Marianas scenery, Saipan Island to the spot shown in this screenshot and take a top down screenie of your own? Then, post it here? I want to see which way the shorelines along the reefs are facing.

Thanks!

Hi Chris,

I'm probably not much use to you. I'm using the beach without waves texture, being inside the reef.

Thanks Kevin!

Hmmm... just as I suspected. Some how or another they are reversed.

I noticed it the other day while flying around Saipan.

Can't imagine why I didn't notice at the time I released the scenery. :icon_redface:

For those interested, find attached a fix. Just unzip and place the two bgl files into the MR Marianas\scenery folder. Click "replace" when asked.

Cheers and thanks again, Kevin

Hiya Kevin,

Actually we are both using the same texture.

Until I flipped the texture in G2K and recompiled the bgl, my reef-edges looked as they do in your screenshot.

I had the check box "land on right" checked in G2k. I went back and un-checked it.

These reef edges are supposed to look as they do in my screenshot. Same texture file, just reversed.

The darker side of the line is supposed to coincided with the deeper bluer side of the reef edge.

Chris

Hi Chris,

Yes, on closer inspection, I can see the beach is reversed. Without the waves it wasn't so noticeable.

Thanks for the fix!

Cheers,

Kevin
